Original: Križu daj nam ti milosti
Back in 1968, in Dubrovnik, Maestro Lovro pl. Matačić heard the music that I had composed for a medieval theater play - Presentation of the Life of St. Cyprian and St. Justine, directed by Božidar Violić at the Dubrovnik Summer Festival. He told me then, “Don't throw it away just like that. I can hear echos of our Glagolitic musical roots. Make a song out of it. If you don't, I'll do... And I did it.
